Evaluation on Baseline Bojanala Project
This project is being implemented in the rural Bojonala District in the North West Province. The implementation plan includes training secondary school language teachers, school managers, and district officials involved in language teaching and school management.
The project aims to impact on learners’ achievements at the senior secondary and Further Education and Training (FET) levels and, ultimately, on the matric results of these rural schools. Furthermore, the project aims to establish a model for the development of rural teachers.
The project will be implemented in these schools for a period of three years during which time over 100 language educators in 17 schools will be trained.
